About Glasgow

Braehead Arena is based in Renfrew, 15 minutes from the city centre of Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city. Glasgow is a city with everything to offer. It is Scotland’s concert-going city, with an enviable worldwide musical pedigree, but also home of the broadcast media, Scottish Opera, major theatres and other cultural treasures.

Already seen as one of the most cultural and dynamic cities in Europe, Glasgow is going through a long-term transformation, evident along the revitalised River Clyde where Braehead Shopping Centre and Braehead Arena face north. Visitors will love Glasgow: the friendliness of the people, the quality of the shopping and the numerous cafés, bars and restaurants.

Scotland has some of the world’s most breathtaking scenery; much of it is on Glasgow’s doorstep. Stunning Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park is only 40 minutes’ drive from the city, and there are plenty of other picturesque spots the length and breadth of the country including around 500 golf courses where visitors are welcome.
